About the Course
A study of information systems as one of the important resources of the business management process and its role in organizing large volumes of information of potentially different kinds using technologies such as databases and networking, among others. This includes the fundamental technology employed in information systems, support made by information systems in numerous business operation and management decision making processes; and the management of information systems resources by giving importance to security, societal and ethical issues. As a practical application of this course, the students are grouped to come up with a project that will be presented and discussed at the end of the semester.
